My cardiologist referred me to this group of professionals in Daphne.  I had described the conditions I was having to my cardiologist nurse.  After two calls and waiting a day for her to call me back the cardiologist had decided he did not need to see me.  Apparently had tunnel vision as to the cause.  He referred me Edema Therapy.  I had previously also called my endocrinologist, nurse, about the same conditions and they referred me to my Primary Care, without seeing me.  My Primary Care was out that week.  His backup saw me, ran some basic bloodwork and said everything was normal and I needed to see my Primary care when he got back.  I called to make my appointment with Edema Therapy and they saw me that day. I came in for my first visit and evaluation.  After listening a few minutes they were very concerned something was more serious than what they were asked to perform.  They made two calls to my cardiologist trying to get me in.  The cardiologist was not available for consultation.  The Edema Therapy professionals decided their treatment was not what I needed and recommended me to go to the ER.  I decided to follow their advice and went.  It was determined I had a kidney syndrome that was rare.  It typically shows up in 5 in 100,000 children and even more rare in adults.  Edema Therapy did not diagnose this condition but they did realize something was going on, more than what was suspected.  I just wanted to make sure everyone that reads reviews knows this group in Daphne listens to you and does not just follow step 1, step 2 and step 3 in the WebMD page or what ever page the doctors follow.  THANK YOU Daphne Edema Therapy Group!

 I have lymphedema.  My doctor referred me to Edema Therapy Company for treatment and they have been wonderful.  They not only come to my home for treatments but they do their very best to make the visit times convenient for me.  The therapists are thorough but gentle. I have come to think of the young women from Edema Therapy like family.  I recommend them to anyone having similar health problems.

I am a 79-year-old male, and about 4 years ago, I started having problems with swelling (edema) in my feet, ankles, and lower legs. As the condition progressed, my family doctor (Primary Care Provider) prescribed a diuretic, told me to elevate my feet, and reduce my salt intake. After one year, the condition had worsened and I had to purchase larger shoes to accommodate the edema. The condition progressed, and on my next visit my family doctor prescribed a second diuretic.

Six months later there was no change in my edema and my family doctor introduced me to the Edema Therapy Company, located in Daphne, Alabama. There I met three extremely knowledgeable, totally professional and efficient therapists. I was told my condition was Lymphedema, which is incurable, but can be controlled. Through their expert care, in three weeks, my feet, ankles, and lower legs, were normal and I was wearing my normal size shoes without pain in my feet and ankles.

After six (6) months, with the use of Redi-Wraps at night and compression garments during the day, my Lymphedema remains under control.

I  started therapy with another group but they were not addressing my edema. Within a month with Edema Therapy I was making awesome progress . Edema therapy knows how to get you on the road to recovery. They evaluate and are able to set up a plan of action so that everyone is working for the same goal. I'm a Registered Nurse and feel that they do outstanding work that is based on science. I would recommend Edema Therapy .

When I came into the office my legs were looking bad.  My therapist got my legs going in the right direction and I feel alot better.  Amy the receptionist is so sweet.  She always say hello and always says something upbeat to me when I leave.  The therapist are like family.    I would recommend Edema Therapy in Daphne.
